WELCOME TO THE ADOBE(R) GRAPHICS AND PUBLISHING SDK.

Here's the stuff you need to know:

* We have provided the SDK's to you in two formats. You can either drag the loose
files directly to your hard drive or you can use the installers located in the 
EXTRAS folder. 

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PAGEMAKER 6.5 SDK INSTALLER IS NOT AVAILABLE.

If you choose to drag the loose files to your hard drive, please note the naming
of the following folders:

PM65SDK - This is the PageMaker 6.5 Windows SDK
PS40SDK - This is the Photoshop 4.0 Windows SDK
PR42SDK - This is the Premiere 4.2 Windows SDK  

Also, we have provided a file named WELCOME.PDF. This file will allow you to navi-
gate the SDK's. If you choose to use the installer versions(located in the
INSTALLERS folder), only the SDK's will be installed into a folder on your hard
disk named ADOBE. The WELCOME.PDF and support documents will not be included. 



* Install the Acrobat(R) Reader software included on this CD onto your hard
drive. If you currently have Acrobat Exchange on your hard drive, please make
sure to load the Search Plug-in(AcroSearch or Acrobat Search) that is located in
the optional plug-ins folder or directory with Exchange. Simply drag it to your
plug-ins folder in Acrobat Exchange. We have indexed the PDF files in the SDK's
to be used by the search feature in Acrobat.
